Louise Reader Personal Trainer Tonbridge

I have always had an interest in sport and fitness but it was not until working with a personal trainer myself, to prepare for the London Marathon, that I decided to make it my career. Since then I have studied and trained with the best coaches and training providers possible to ensure that my skills and expertise are always up to date. This enables me to provide the best possible service to all of my clients. My comprehensive approach ensures clients address all aspects of their lifestyle in order to reach their fitness goals. I provide education on exercise, nutrition, health issues and lifestyle changes. My own experience in fitness and exercise means my approach to personal training is fresh and unique and can be scaled up or down to suit all fitness levels.

WHAT I DO

1:1 personal training

1:1 personal training

I use a circuit training approach that burns fat, increases strength and cardiovascular fitness. This significantly improves your overall fitness. I will ensure you use the proper techniques and introduce you to new exercises to keep things varied.
£40 per 1 hour session
post & prenatal

I adapt training to keep mother and baby safe. Training whilst pregnant decreases stress, anxiety and fatigue, as well as helping the mother in her ability to give birth. It helps retone the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles to increase strength and regain you pre-baby figure.
£40 per 1 hour session
group training

I train groups of 3-5 people. By monitoring each individual to check technique, and by scaling exercises, I ensure each individual is training to their optimal capacity using the correct technique. Training with others can help motivate you to reach your goals.

Eating correctly for nutritional needs is essential for health and fitness and is pivotal in achieving your goals. I make suggestions and guidance to help you get this right.

In addition to gym-based options, what could be easier than getting your personal trainer to come to you? I can train you in your home, local park or at your work. For groups, I find locations to suit everyone. All equipment used is designed to offer a varied and safe programme.
All prices are based on a location within a 10 mile radius of Tonbridge. Additional charges may apply for locations outside of this area. Group discounts and partner training rates can be discussed. Please contact me on 07720 297 572 for quotes.

PROGRAMME

TRAINING TO SUIT YOU

FREE CONSULTATION
First we will meet for a very relaxed consultation, free of charge. It gives us the opportunity to discuss your goals, understand why you want a personal trainer and what you want to achieve. It allows you to ask any questions regarding the programme so we can make sure it meets your needs and keeps you motivated. We will also go through your medical and health background. We will finish with a short taster workout if you have time.

YOUR FIRST TRAINING SESSION
This will include assessments to enable us to set realistic goals for your training based on your fitness levels. I will regularly review your progress and adapt the training programme in line with your new fitness levels. This means you will reach your goals and stay motivated.
NUTRITIONAL ADVICE
Something that many people forget is that for optimal health and fitness, eating correctly is essential. Eating smarter can help you achieve your goals quicker. I will ask you to fill in a food diary for 1 week, this will help me assess your eating habits. I will then analyse this and provide suggestions to improve your diet and help you reach your fitness goals.

ONGOING COMMITMENT
During our sessions I will constantly keep you motivated and help you to achieve your goals. I will also encourage you to exercise between sessions by giving you workouts to do at home and lifestyle suggestions to increase your weekly exercise. Importantly, I differentiate how I train my clients by being available on email and phone to answer questions and support you through your fitness journey.
